Being a former Michigander I wouldn't say Philadelphia was actually CLOSE - it's about 14 hours
from Detroit. But if you opted for the Philadelphia show you could also visit Longwood Gardens.
And even though there's not much growing at Flower Show time it's still quite lovely - and there
is a huge conservatory that is well worth visiting year round. Not only that but you could then
quickly cross into Delaware and see Winterthur.
