    One use I hope GWL members will make of the list is in getting authors
and editors/publishers together.  We have a great pool of talent here that
should be tapped.
       For the sake of fairness and clarity, however, be sure that anyone
offering jobs
and writing opportunities takes the time  AT THE OUTSET to spell out 
 financial details such as work-for-hire, so-much-per-word or FREE.  This
is only fair and avoids misunderstandings later.  Exact rates don't have to
be given on the list, but the type of arrangement should be, with rates and
such to be worked out privately.
