I find your posting encouraging. I have been negotiating with a local
newspaper, one of the Pulitzer chain, for a weekly column. The editor was
very interested last week. This week he says he was just notified that the
Lifestyle section is being decreased to four pages, three of which are ads,
and his freelance budget has been cut--so far just through January. He hopes
the freeze ends soon and he will start the column.
