Exactly!  It doesn't matter who gets the credit.  What does count is that we
garden writers make sure our readers know their extra harvest can help those
in need.  We all can do this in so many little ways.  If writing a magazine
article, ask the editor to let you include a line or two about sharing the
harvest and include the national PAR hotline so readers can find the nearest
place to donate produce.  Every time you speak in public, mention PAR.  All
these small efforts add up to creating more a million pounds of fresh,
healthy produce every year for hungry people would not normally have it to
eat.
