Um...Suzanne...no, it does NOT work.  I had forgotten the snow
Barbara mentioned.  That is just another reason this type of barrier
is not prime choice.

To be boringly repetitious...to keep deer out of an area, you must
install either a min. 8' tall fence of some material or an electric
fence, which does not have to be all that tall.  Slanted fences
probably help as they do disorient deer somewhat, but you still have
to make them tall enough so that deer can't jump them if they have a
running start.  8' is minimum; 10 feet they cannot jump.
