Lon,
Although it may not be the right kind of forum for the books you're interested in reviewing, "Resurgence," an excellent British periodical which covers a broad range of issues regarding sustainability, ran 19 reviews in their current issue. Some of the books like Chris Maser's "The World is my Garden" and Stephen Nottingham's "The Ecology of Genetic Engineering" could certainly be considered garden writing in the larger sense.
At any rate, it's a great magazine.

I used to enjoy doing book reviews, but lost my main market when the

review, it seems pointless. Does anyone know of a good publication buying
free-lance reviews these days?
