Garden Writers wanted

I just wanted to write that The Growing Edge magazine is always looking for articles on hydroponics or aquaponics. For 15 years we have been the trade journal of record for these industries. Our readers include commercial and hobby growers, research scientists (like at NASA) and public school teachers and their students. We really like to publish articles on schools that are utilizing hydroponics in their curriculums (there are hundreds across the US doing this). A little looking around your community and you most likely will find someone using hydroponics in some way in their gardening. We want to report on them. With your help we will.

I am always amazed at the comments when I exhibit at trade shows around the US (even at the GWA exhibit). Predictably, numerous people will come up, believing US government propaganda on hydroponics and make some marijuana comment, as if that is the only plant that can grow using hydroponics. This has become one of GE's main missions: to show the legitimate use of hydroponics and the people doing it--sort of the human interest/People magazine of the hydroponic industry. For 15 years we have done just that. Help us continue on our mission.
