 I would have to disagree with that.  From my perspective, some photographic basics can be learnt, but the rest is intuative and talent.  I may be able to take 'ok' shots of gardens, but getting a 'great' let alone 'awesome' shot is perhaps one in 10 rolls of film/disc. and then only by chance.  Without an artistic bone in my body, I have to be realistic and get photos from outside.
