If this were true Brook, then why is there so precious little GOOD photography, much less great photography?

I know the answer - here, pick one:

(a) Your standards of what makes a photograph great is pathetically low.
(b) Your statement is wrong.
(c) Great photography is no different than great writing -
(d) all of the above.
