Seventeen tips for freelancers

This was apparently posted in August, but I just discovered it today thanks
to Whispering Crane

The original writer of the lists is a freelance illustrator, but I thought
the tips were applicable to a freelance writer (just substitute "editor" for
"art director"), and would probably be helpful to any freelancer. The
