Re: Blogger and Garden Blogs
I never said I welcomed OpenID with open arms. I have seen the term bandied
about but never attempted reading up on it until today--and still feel
uninformed. I certainly don't have the same login and password for my
financial accounts, for just the reasons Doug cites. Most of the websites
with whom I am registered online don't have the importance of my financial
data, but if someone hacked into my OpenID, could they also hack into the
administration panel of my website? That *is* a scary thought.
I happen to have a Blogger ID, so this is a moot point for me at the moment,
but the whole concept of OpenID bears careful thought.
