Re: Subject: Re: Finding Places To Speak

There has been a lot of great advise here on where to speak and how much to
charge. As a 'new' southern gardener I have to start from the bottom of the
pile again when it comes to earning a reputation, but I do think it is
important from the start to decide two things: who you are willing to talk to for
free and how many of those per year you will do.
My personal criteria are that I will do local Master Gardener groups, and I
will do seniors and local libraries for free. Everything else is negotiable,
but is charged.
>From these conversations though I have found ideas for venues that i would
never have thought of before.

Like many others I enjoy giving presentations rather than think of them as a
chore to be undertaken as part of my business plan,
Kate
