That's about where I stand. But I will add that little is of any particular 
interest. Which brings up one of my pet peaves.

These newsletters and press kits and web sites are primarily targeted to 
people who don't know diddly-squat about gardening, certainly not those who 
want some background information in depth. I don't just want to know that a 
plant is beautiful and easy to grow. I can, and will, find that out for 
myself. I want to know who developed it, where, what lineage, what else 
these people bred, where the parent plants grew, why it is so worth 
promoting. You almost never get this. You get fluff.

That's one good thing about the plant patent program. You can look up the 
patent application on the Web and get that deep background. Usually the 
patent application is much more informative than the PR newsletter.
