Re: Descriptive Writing
Sheri, I do a rough draft to get the basic info down on paper and
then go back and craft it. The biggest mistake many writers make is
overkill. If you're talking about making jelly, wax on about the joys
of fresh strawberry jam on toast for a sentence to two to get the
reader excited about the project and get on with the business of how
make it. If you have the space, end the article with colorful
description of serving.
