  On reading the entry form more carefully, I now see (small orange print) that individuals are not allowed to enter blogs - only companies and organizations. Well that solved that one - I'm not allowed to enter. But why exclude the vast number of excellent blogs run by individuals combining their work in writing, photography, design and other blogging skills?

  Judy's quite right in her first point - but that's not what I commented on. CL is right that unless it's clear that whole-blog entries are welcome and will compete against each other (and not against, say, TV shows) then entries will be few and, as I say, individuals are not allowed to enter anyway. BTW in the UK awards, four out of the six blog finalists were individuals and not hosted on "commercial" sites. Don't quite see how a blog is necessarily commercial, Judy.

  Judy is open to change, so let's send her ideas or share them here. I've judged the awards and can confirm the time, effort and thoughtfulness that goes into making assessments.  Let's all work to make them more relevant to our changing world.
