Folks -If you have Facebook" likes" enabled for your site (the small "like"
buttons you put on each page) here's a quick update on Facebook code.  Go
to your stats and check if you have a file in there called fb/channel.html
 You didn't build this page but it's been added automatically by Facebook.
The problem is that it is blank - no content at all, not even a 404
message. But Google is seeing it as a blank page and the more Facebook
traffic you have, the worse the problem becomes (the more blank pages and
reader dissatisfaction you're creating)

This is some form of glitch at Facebook, not within your own code and if
you Google the file name above, you're going to find some interesting
code-hack to repair it and/or commentary about it re your search engine
rankings.

Due to the structure of my site, I've just pulled down all the offending FB
code to eliminate this blank page issue.

If you don't have Facebook integrated into your site and you don't have the
filename above, you can ignore this note.  If you do - then you either
implement the code hack or you remove the FB integration if you want to
hold your rankings.

If this is so much tech-speak to you (hello JB!) then simply pass it along
to your tech people.
