[GWL]: Email Problem Solved
Thanks to everyone who sent messages offlist. I resolved the problem by
talking to the ISP system's administrator. It seems that Topica.com sent
email to my ISP for an unknown user. Instead of sending back a "User
Unknown" message to Topica, as is standard, the system's admin used an older
protocol to alert Topica and it looped--blocking out any mail delivery from
any Topica address. As I said earlier, Wisconsin is a challenging place in
which to live and do business.
My point to this email--which makes it on topic--is that if you have
problems with mail delivery, track it down and persist. As GWL listserv
owners, Lon and I can help you. Personally, I'm like a dog on a hunt. I
won't quit until I get the right answer.
