Re: Latest on Irradiation & Seeds

Doreen,
As I read this piece, it seems the thrust of the message is mail going to
government zip codes"202-205" is irradiated when hand stamped . Mail going
to residential and business addresses in the District of Columbia are zip
codes"200". Therefore, if you privately send your congressional
representative a hand stamped and hand addressed letter with a packet of
seeds enclosed it is likely to be irradiated. If a business is fulfilling a
mail order sale to a customer in the residential or business areas it will
not be irradiated. Furthermore, the fact that most business mail is metered,
has a return address coinciding with the meter permit and the delivery
address is printed, is further assurance that this type of mail is not
irradiated. Thank you Doreen for locating and posting this article.
