Sheri,

One of the experts in ponds and water gardening is Helen Nash.  She calls 
herself the "Pond Doctor".  I went to one of her seminars last year and it 
was very informative.  She has been "ponding" as she calls it for years.  She 
was publishing Pond and Garden magazine.  Unfortunately, the July/August 
issue was their last because of financial issues.  She has published several 
how-to books on water gardening that are still widely available.  

Maybe someone on this list has a way to contact Helen.  Or you might try the 
local library for back issues of the magazine.  Her website 
www.pondandgarden.com only lists her letter as to why they have shut down.
