Re: Water Gardening Stastics

Speaking at a regional GWAA meeting in June 1998, Charles Thomas of
Lilypons Gardens said that the trend in U.S. was water gardens in
containers. He attributes some of the increased interest in water
gardening to improved technology (liners that are relative inexpensive
and unlikely to leak, mechanical cleaners, filtration systems, etc.) and
to the fact that if it's set up right in the first place, it's the
easiest kind of gardening: no raking, hoeing, weeding. He said, "Once
installed, the less you do, the better."
