Peter;  I agree about Timber Press.  they are also very helpful to The 
Massachusetts Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society.  I buy books 
frequently, and have even bought from Timber when they were cleaning the 
warehouse and found remainders.  I have not yet read a Timber book that was 
shallow or stale.  They publish so many titles that I'd like to have, and 
more that cover subjects I'm not interested in. 

I look forward to seeing more of your efforts via Timber.
