This is not exactly on point, but I've got to pass it on.
I just got a new stainless steel spading fork at Target. I saw it last
fall, passed on the purchase because I already have several forks
including one stainless steel border fork, and spent the whole winter
regreting it. Went back last week, the garden department was set up, and
I bought it.
If you have never used a stainless steel spade, it is a joy. They glide
through the soil like a knife through butter. This one has a vinyl clad
steel handle and a slightly offset grip. A work of art. And the price?
Twenty bucks. Can't beat it.
China, of course.
