Re: Website for GWL

Remember one thing. All these great ideas have to be DONE. Is there
someone on the list who is WILLING to write up all these events, etc.
and keep them updated and available for whomever is the webmaster? It
sure won't be me - I have to get someone else to do MY website for me.
So before you get too grandiose, we need people who will DO some of
these things. No one person need do that much, if enough people will do
one item - someone to collect events, someone to collect websites, etc.
Right now, let's start with someone to collect the IDEAS. That won't be
much more than a list, to begin with. Then we can go from there.
Who wants to be part of getting the new GWL website off the ground?
If this develops into a serious project I will have a new website created on
ibiblio for gwl and will set up a new wiki (using the latest wiki software)
for it. With this arrangement, anyone wanting to join me or take over maintaining the website
can easily do so at any time. Just let me know when gwl needs to be on its own turf
and I will do what is necessary to make the move. Then and now, just email me anything you want
put online. As for the wiki, anyone can create their own page and upload images and documents.
I will add howto info and plugin tools to the existing gwlwiki.
