You might refer to Ros Creasy's recent set of books on specific edible gardens, including books on growing a beautiful salad garden, an herb garden, a brightly colorful ?rainbow garden?, ethnic gardens featuring French, Asian, Mexican and Italian cuisine, an heirloom garden, a pepper garden and a selection of edible flowers that perk up every meal.

Subject: [GWL] Need Help Planning A Vegetable Garden

One of the juvenile correctional facilities just contacted me for some help in planning their vegetable garden. They have twelve 8? x 12? raised beds. They want a salsa garden, a vegetable garden and some flowers, including sunflowers, mixed in.

 

Does anyone on the list, who is good at this, have time to help develop a plan for them along with the correct amount of seeds I need to send to them? I am needing this ASAP. They want to grow as wide a variety of plants as possible.

 

The majority of the food will be going to the Second Harvest Food Bank that these kids will grow.
