Tom, Is there a Bill or Bills as a result of these lobbying efforts?  Do you
have the bill numbers or names?  I found out late yesterday that I have a
deadline this week that I didn't know about but when I get a minute, I'd
like to read them if it's come to that.

In Mendocino county, CA. voters passed overwhelmingly ballot measures  
that not only ban growing GMOs in their county but a strict labeling  
law on products grown elsewhere but sold in the county. Now the GMO  
companies are lobbying in the state legislature to prohibit counties  
from doing just that. Commanding us to bow down before the almighty  
dollar. The reality is if a strict labeling law was put into effect  
nationally, GMOs would die a quick death because polls show a large  
majority of people don't want GMOs in their bodies. So much for the  
"free marketplace."
