Photography in British gardens

I've been in touch with the Garden Photographer's Association
(http://www.gardenwriters.co.uk/photographers), part of the Garden
Writers Guild in Britain, and they are currently working on bringing
together the regulations from various British gardens and
organisations so photographers can see exactly what the situation is.
I'll post an update in due course.

The National Trust, it seems has a rather convoluted system of
"approving" photographers who must then assign their work to the
Trust's own stock house - and are paid 50% of sales. The precise way
this works is also being clarified.
