Whitehouse gardens organic?

LOL! I'd hate to see the historic Rose Garden go or kill the lawn Easter Egg
Roll or lose many of the gorgeous trees on those grounds - BUT it would be
nice to know the leader of the free world was at least not sucking up our
scarce resources for the other parts of the grounds that can easily be converted
to rain gardens with natives, wildflower meadows, and Eastern forests.
Something tells me the Secret Service wants free-and-clear sight-lines though.

Sincerely,
Kathy Jentz

And while we're at it, let's find out how much water and chemicals (I'd love
to think it was organic, but that's a pipe-dream for a future
administration) are used on the White House gardens. With a $3 trillion
plus budget, every penny that could be saved.......Go for edible
landscaping, low maintenance, and native plants. Just think how many
people that garden could feed!!
