 I hope to delete all the previous threads here, because as a digest subscriber, it takes me a while to figure out who (except for Doug - cigar puffing gets rid of mosquitoes, yeah? - and Jeff - hi Mr. frozen Microbe! - and that Frielster guy)/what/where and, mostly when ... so if it doesn't work, it's because my eyes are tired and it is still cold in Florida (hahahaha you all say, north of Mason/Dixon. It's cold! I am 3 weeks behind in planting flats; we have three extremly tiny growing seasons here in 8b, belive or not).
and after being a lurker for (10?) years and a newspaper editor/columnist for 35 before, you know ....
 How does one make money being a blogger? I don't comprehend this. I really don't and I be a collige graditate. Does one have to beg for sponsors? I have a huge following, but I hate to extract money from them to log onto my site. I am working on a North Central Florida calendar (thanks Betty! great advice...you of great experience and some Florida knowledge).  
 No way am I getting into building my own Web site. I think that is way late 90s, at this point. We need point-to-point advice to people, and beyond Extension, because they have university-protocol  handcuffs. I worked at UF for a while and there are censors. Mmmmm. Not in my garden. 
rant over. I think I need to take my dog for a brisk walk. And my TV converter doesn't work.
