Re: GWL question on book prospectus

This time around it is they who waited on me for a year. I took time
out to battle cancer, radiation and chemo. I had just made contact with them
to submit my prospectus and get my text edited for the presentation. Had to
bow out. They still remembered me and we have picked up from the
introductions. I can and will give them the courtesy of 60 days. After that
I will put feelers out to the next publisher I have in mind.

My advice (which is worth just what you've paid for it!) is to tell yourself
that they have a certain amount of time to accept the proposal and move it
forward, and if they don't, try a conventional publisher if your idea is one
that isn't so specialized that only a university press would publish it.
