Re: [GWL]: grammar

Thanks Carol. Another factor that lends a feeling of wrongness to a
gramatically correct statement is that, unlike the fourth of a pie, which is
or can be visualized as a single unit, "one fourth of our readers" is
presumably thousands of people (or units). One fourth of those pies is mine,
by the way.
