RE: [GWL]: Plural and poetry

In comparing the two references, I'm sure the first is the one I 
remember (obviously with great liberties taken!). But the second, for 
which Lilo Jacobi claimes authorship, was obviously "adapted" from 
the first. The 1998 "authorship" is about 3 decades late. My guess is 
that I read it first during my high school days in the '50's.
