What makes for a good speaker? Are lots of slides a necessity? Or does that depend on how
inherently visual your topic is?

After teaching public speaking for over 20 years I find I really enjoy speaking in public about
topics I love - but I've been reluctant to register with the GWAA bureau because I'm not sure
what most audiences expect - and I'm also not sure what types of fees people are willing to pay.
(I've always had great difficulty charging people.)
