    You may want to check out the Perennial Plant Association web site.
There is a speakers listing with fees there. Very interesting and
informative on who (some big names on the speakers circuit) and how much.
Believe that will answer most of your question about fees for speaking.

    As to content, I believe speaking is no different than writing in that
you need to find your own niche. May limit you a bit in draw, but you can
command a better price up front.
