Re: [GWL]: Looking for a book
I don't think you're going to find everything you want in one book. The AHS
A-Z plant encyclopedia is a wonderful reference, but not intended as a
gardening how-to book; Armitage is great, very readable, has some pictures,
but certainly not a pic for everything; Blooms of Bressingham Garden Plants
is fine, but many new cultivars have come into the market since it was
published; and so on.
You'll probably have to resign yourself to building a library (and
discovering how many things different authors, botanists and taxonomists
disagree on!) or you'll have to write that book yourself.
