Don't miss this opportunity to receive the recognition your work deserves!  

 

The Garden Writer's Association of America (GWAA) invites you and your colleagues to enter the prestigious 2002 Garden Globe Awards.  Considered the "Academy Awards" of gardening, these awards recognize the best individuals and producers in each of about a dozen categories.

•         The entry deadline is Jan. 31, 2002 . Online entry forms are available at:   http://www.gwaa.org/qtawards/awardreg.html

 

•         You may enter multiple categories for work released in 2001.  Individuals may enter writing and photography, for example.  Works may be entered by a publisher or packager in the Overall Product category as well as by each person who worked on the project – writer, photographer, designer and/or illustrator – in the Artist Awards.  Television, radio or internet product nominations can be submitted by individual artists -- directors, on-air talent, and script writers -- as well as by the producer for the overall product.

 

•         Winners of the "Awards of Achievement" and "Best of Category" will be announced on April 15, 2002 -- in time for publishing conventions.

 

•         All "Best of Category" winners will be eligible for The Garden Globe Award of the Year which will be announced on August 5, 2002 , at the 54th GWAA Annual Symposium in Seattle, WA
