This direct from Timber Press:

"The key elements of a Timber Press offer are generally as follows: 
on hardback copies a royalty of 10% of net receipts in all markets 
(including export, foreign language editions, book club deals); if 
the book goes into paperback a royalty of 7.5% net receipts in all 
markets. Royalties are paid yearly in April. Copyright in the entire 
author's contribution (text, photographs, illustrations, maps etc) 
remains with the author.  The author is sometimes offered a small 
advance against royalty but this is by no means the norm at Timber 
Press."

And they usually expect this to include all photography!
