Dear fellow garden writers:

I've been thinking about this for a couple of days.  I have
dreamed of beginning to write magazine articles, etc.  The
catch is I have no confidence in my ability to write the
initial query letter.

I have an idea for a popular magazine, know where to send
the query letter (or can get it again if I lost the name)
but I am afraid to try.  Might there be someone here who via
email, could help me put together a query letter?  Somehow
reading a book about this subject just hasn't given me the
courage to try.

If you would be willing to mentor an on-line garden writer
wanting to break into hard print, please email me off this
list.  I'll share my idea with you and hopefully, get some
help putting together the type of query that might get me a
