    Actually, to germinate you must have 4 things: 1. a viable seed,
2.enough moisture, 3. the correct temperature, and 4. Oxygen

    1. speaks for itself, 2. not enough H20, no germination, 3. too hot or
too cold (or with some seeds-- a fluctuation of temperatures) and no
germination, and 4., no air, no germination---if we were to add one more
factor for some seeds-light or dark. Some seed will only germinate in the
dark and some only in the presence of light.
