Re: [GWL]: A New Rant

Ok, folks. Let's be precise here.

A garden *seed* only needs moisture to germinate. In the case of desert
plants, it may be only a modicum of moisture, but some must be present. A
*seed* does not need sunshine (some must have darkness) to germinate, nor
does it need nutrients to germinate.

Once germination has taken place, however, *then* both light, whether from
sunshine or grow-lights, and nutrients are necessary for the seedling to
continue to grow from a tiny seedling with two seed leaves to a healthy,
productive plant.

Does this solve this question?
