Re: [GWL]: a new "rant"
I thought the broken crockery in the bottom of the pot was mainly to cover
the drainage hole so the soil wouldn't wash out. Also, I've heard that
recent studies say layering different materials (soil/sand) actually impedes
drainage because one layer will become saturated before the moisture moves
to the next layer. Do you think today's practice = tomorrow's myth?
