Re: Gardens in France

I'd recommend Bagatelle, a rose garden in the Bois de Boulogne in Paris, Giverny, Versailles, (both of these an easy train ride from central Paris--but check which train station to leave from as there are several--also note that Giverny will be very crowded but go anyway), Vaux le Vicomte (designed by Le Notre before he did Versailles) and any number of Loire Valley chateaux--whatever you have time for (will require a car).
