Hi Christopher,
     I just received your e-mail regarding horticultural photographic images, so I thought I would take this opportunity to communicate with you. I joined GWA just last year, and I was added to GWL just last week.
     I’m a hort photographer and I currently own 25,000 images of named varieties and cultivars of all categories of plants that I have photographed in the past 6 years. I market these images to trade publications, wholesale and retail nurseries, and label companies, etc.
     For our ‘Industry’ though, I like to provide images (at no more that the cost of a scan or a dup) to those who educate the masses, via slide or power point presentations. Most educators that have used my library have been school teachers and professors for instance. Anything for education.
     My reason for contacting you, since I am new here, is to ask you if there is some formal forum that I should look at or sign up for that would let other industry professionals know that my library is open for educational and non-profit use?
     How are the images posted on the gwlphotos@hort.net used?   And what is it’s main function?  Is that the direction that I should be looking?
