One of our list members kindly sent me the link for a column she'd written about the Appalachian Heirloom Seed Conservancy.
We've gotten several inquiries from that column, and I appreciate her sending it.
I'd like to request that anyone else doing an article or newscast that mentions us let me know. That way, when inquiries start coming in, I'll know the source.
AHSC is a group dedicated to preserving the heirloom food plants and sustainable agricultural practices of the central Appalachian region. Included in our mission is the establishment of a living seed bank, in which heirlooms of the region are grown out, and fresh seed distributed, on a regular basis.
Thanks for letting me know what you're saying about us.
