Re: Vegetable seed needed to feed one person

Hi Sheri,
You might check with your university extension service. They may have pamphlets with estimates of how much to plant in a season to feed a certain amount of people. Kansas State University has a Vegetable Garden Planting Guide # MF-315 from Nov. 1992. You can download from http://www.oznet.ksu.edu.

I don't know if anyone has a quote on this or if anyone has even researched
this but I am wondering how much vegetable seed per person is needed to
sustain them for several months or even from season to season?
