There are no manual controls on my digital.  It really was a
cheapie.  It's been OK until now, because all I used it for
was a few things we sold on Ebay.  But now I need to
photograph many plants, and to photograph them fairly well.

Thanks.  I just don't want to buy a new digital then find
out that they ALL have the same problem.
