RE: Review copies

I have received review copies of everything that I've asked for, as an
editor. For a writer, sometimes you have to give the name of the print media
that will run your review. Never hurts to ask. I have had to ask for a copy
but I know people who get copies on particular topics as a matter of course.

I don't make any promises or guarantee any results at all. I send a copy of
the review to the author and to the publisher -- if I think they are going
to be happy with the article. If you send it to the publisher, they will get
to know your name and will be more likely to send you other review copies.
