Re: garden revival?

Don't you think much of this is a self-fulfilling prophecy? After reading  
The Tipping Point, I'm thinking all we need do is say it is so and it is.

If we all agreed with ASLA that gardening was "back" and a revival was  
coming in 2008 -- then went out and declared to the world in our columns, blogs,  
and radio shows that gardening is back and now the "new hot thing"  -- look at 
so-and-so celebrity who is doing it and all the great green benefits  it 
provides -- then it would BE the new hot thing. It worked for quilting,  
scrapbooking, and knitting - it now is our turn.

Perception is reality.

So I now declare: Gardening is HOT HOT HOT! :-)
