Re: RElease Dates
Dan,
First of all, sounds like congratulations are in order!!
Best time to release a new book...springtime or just before Christmas? When
my first garden book came out, or before it did, I emailed several thousand
newspaper and magazine editors and lined up a ton of people wanting to see
review copies....ended up getting hundreds of reviews, articles, etc. from
that mammoth effort.
Seems like worth doing...the only problem I had, which was considerable,
was that the publisher didn't actually get the book in print on the date
they'd promised...editors kept moving on to greener pastures, etc...and by
the time it actually was in print, I'd had five editors on the book.
But yeah, if you can time it right...you can prime the pump and make a
pretty good splash.
So, what's the title???
Tom
