Re: Ohio Garden Visit suggestions needed...!

There's a very cool park in Columbus that has Seurat's Sunday 
Afternoon recreated in topiary. It used to be called Deaf School Park 
because it is adjacent to the state's former school for the deaf. I 
found the url below. I'd suggest meeting with someone from the park 
or some volunteers to learn about how they keep these plants alive in 
bitter cold and sweltering heat. Obviously, in keeping with the 
theme, it would be a great place for a group picnic or box lunch.

At the Chadwick Arboretum at Ohio State is a perennial display garden 
designed by Adrian Bloom. The bed is in honor of Stephen Still, head 
of the Perennial Plant Association and a retired professor from OSU. 
It was put in in 2005, so it should look good now.
