If you add "mostly" I fully agree. I went through Master Gardener training
over thirty years ago, back in the Dark Ages when the classes were held in
the hort department at Cornell. I was a member of one very active group,
then went on to start MG groups in two other counties in two states. I've
taught knowledgeable and enthusiastic people at MG conferences. I'm just
saying that there are exceptions, some groups where there is inadequate
leadership and they don't want to learn beyond their pedestrian back yard
experience.
